A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support their team during a 13-week contract-to-hire period. This role offers a chance to work in a focused environment alongside one pharmacist and three technicians, handling fewer than 100 prescriptions daily. The position operates on a consistent Monday to Friday, first shift schedule, providing structure and work-life balance.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Location:

• Glendale, AZ

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data into the Pioneer Rx system
• Contact patients and physician offices to clarify prescription details
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, carefully verifying patient allergies prior to dispensing
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service ensuring a positive pharmacy experience

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active, clear Pharmacy Technician license registered in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent pharmacy technician experience, with a preference for retail pharmacy background
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small team setting
