A well-established independent retail pharmacy seeks a skilled Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support the team by providing coverage during call-offs, vacations, and PTO. Located in Playa Del Rey, CA, this role maintains pharmacy operations Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pharmacy utilizes DigitalRx software and has a dedicated staff of 6-7 professionals, creating a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with prescription processing and dispensing in a retail pharmacy setting
• Perform non-sterile compounding duties (8-10 compounds per day) following safety and quality standards
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Support pharmacy workflow by covering shifts on short notice, ensuring smooth operations during staff absences

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license required
• Prior retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Non-sterile compounding experience highly desirable
• Availability to work flexible hours and easily pick up shifts during weekdays and weekends; weekend-only availability is not preferred
