This full-time opportunity as an Admixture Pharmacy Technician involves working within outpatient oncology clinics and on-site pharmacies, supporting specialized sterile compounding services.
Location:
- Based in Glendale, CA, with coverage spanning from Santa Clarita through Glendale to Northridge
- Must have travel flexibility to serve multiple clinic sites within the San Fernando region
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday
- Day shift hours only
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile compounding of admixtures in compliance with established protocols and safety standards
- Prepare and dispense chemotherapy and supportive care medications accurately
- Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with pharmacists and clinical teams to support patient treatment plans
- Manage proper inventory and documentation for pharmacy operations
- Adhere to all regulatory and quality assurance guidelines within oncology pharmacy settings
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician with current licensure where applicable
- Proven sterile compounding experience, particularly within oncology or admixture pharmacy
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple clinical sites within the coverage region
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient safety
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
