Key Responsibilities:

  • Compound, prepare, and process prescriptions in line with established policies and state regulations
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and supplies accurately and efficiently
  • Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify correct dosage forms
  • Properly label, package, and prepare medications for distribution
  • Identify, document, and report any medication-related incidents or discrepancies
  • Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy work areas and laminar flow hoods
  • Inspect pharmacy equipment, report malfunctions, and help ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintain pharmacy temperature logs and cleaning records for quality assurance

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience preferred
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license valid in Texas
  • PTCB certification required
  • IV Certification is a must-have for this role

Location:
