Immediate opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician with specialized experience in HIV/AIDS dispensing within a community health setting. This role supports an AIDS/HIV specialty pharmacy where professionalism, respect, and non-judgmental patient care are essential.
Location: Grand Prairie, TX (Community Health setting in Arlington, TX)
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Contract Details:
- Start ASAP on April 6
- Duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute typical retail pharmacy duties including prescription data entry and medication dispensing
- Deliver respectful and compassionate communication tailored to individuals living with HIV/AIDS
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency while using QS1 pharmacy software (experience with this system is preferred)
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year working in a retail pharmacy setting
- Prior HIV/AIDS dispensing experience required
- Strong patient communication skills
- Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician (PTCB certification is a plus, not required)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a specialized clinical environment
- Spanish-speaking candidates highly preferred
