Pharmacy Technician - Grand Rapids, MI

A retail pharmacy environment seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join the team on a contract-to-hire basis. This position offers an opportunity to work Monday through Friday with rotating start times, supporting daily pharmacy operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am
• Pharmacy closes Fridays at 6:00 pm
• No weekend shifts initially; weekend availability may be required in the future

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications following prescriptions and regulatory guidelines
• Assist pharmacists with daily operations in a fast-paced retail setting
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous service to customers
• Utilize the Pioneer RX pharmacy system for prescription processing and records management
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws
• Support inventory management and stock replenishment

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician License required
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail environment
• Proficiency with Pioneer RX system is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to rotating shift start times
