Pharmacy Technician - Greenfield, Indiana

A 26-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician skilled in high-volume retail or mail order environments. This role is based in Greenfield, IN, in a mail order specialty pharmacy setting, with the intent to transition to direct hire. The position offers a structured schedule on the 2nd shift from 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities will initially include working the day shift (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) while pharmacists are being established for the evening shift. Once the evening pharmacist schedule is in place, the role will transition to the regular 2nd shift hours. The Pharmacy Technician will accurately prepare and dispense medications, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and support the pharmacy team within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Reliability and attention to detail are crucial in this position to meet the demands of a specialty pharmacy.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent and relevant pharmacy technician experience
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy setting
• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
• Strong reliability and excellent communication skills
• Experience working within a mail order or specialty pharmacy environment is preferred
