Pharmacy Technician in Greenfield, IN

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy settings. This role is based in Greenfield, IN, supporting a mail order and specialty pharmacy environment. The position offers a contract duration of 26 weeks with the intent for direct hire, providing a pathway for long-term placement.

Location:

• Greenfield, IN

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 2nd shift (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
• Possible weekend shifts
• Initial start on Day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) transitioning to the evening shift as evening pharmacists are established

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in a high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy setting
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
• Assist pharmacists in processing prescriptions efficiently
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of all patient information
• Demonstrate reliability and commitment to maintaining workflow during shifts

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent pharmacy technician experience, preferably in high-volume retail or mail order environments
• Current and valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
