Pharmacy Technician | Greenwood, Indiana

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a fast-paced mail order and specialty pharmacy environment. The position starts on the day shift with a transition to the second shift, providing a dynamic schedule within a growing pharmacy setting. This is a temp-to-hire role with an intention for direct hire after the initial 26-week period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and verify medication orders in a high-volume mail order specialty pharmacy setting
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and procedures, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
• Manage inventory and restocking duties as required
• Adapt to shift changes from day to evening as the pharmacy expands evening coverage

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent or current pharmacy technician experience
• Prior experience in a high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy environment is essential
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Indiana
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to maintain a consistent schedule
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm (second shift)
• Initial start on day shift, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, before transition
• Occasional weekends may be required
