Pharmacy Technician - Greenwood, IN

A pharmacy technician role is available for a 26-week contract in Greenwood, IN, with the intent for direct hire. This position supports a mail order and specialty pharmacy environment, requiring candidates with strong reliability and experience. The shift begins on day hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) and transitions to the second shift (12:30 pm – 9:00 pm) once evening pharmacists are staffed, with potential weekend hours as needed.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, Day shift initially (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
• Transition to 2nd shift (12:30 pm – 9:00 pm)
• Possible weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and process prescriptions in a high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy setting
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and pharmacy team members to ensure smooth workflow
• Manage inventory and handle medication packaging with precision
• Provide excellent customer service via phone and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent pharmacy technician experience, preferably in high volume retail or mail order pharmacy
• Indiana pharmacy technician license (required)
• Proven reliability and a strong commitment to attendance
• Ability to adapt to shift changes and handle a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
