Pharmacy Technician in Greenwood, IN

A specialty pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support their high-volume mail order environment. This contract role offers a 26-week assignment with the intent for direct hire, located in Greenwood, IN.

Candidates will start on the day shift from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to assist in establishing evening pharmacist coverage. Once established, you will transition to the 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with possible weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in a fast-paced specialty mail order pharmacy setting
• Support pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to maintain workflow efficiency
• Maintain detailed records consistent with pharmacy policies and licensing requirements

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years current or very recent experience as a pharmacy technician
• Experience in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy environments
• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required
• Demonstrated reliability and strong organizational skills in a dynamic work environment
