A mail order specialty pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role offers the unique opportunity to start on the day shift and transition to the second shift once the evening pharmacist schedule is established, providing valuable exposure across different operational hours.
Location: Greenwood, IN
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) initially
- Transition to second shift (12:30 pm - 9:00 pm)
- Possible weekend hours
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications for high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy patients
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and company policies
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and inventory management
- Ensure reliability and consistency to uphold service levels in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of current or very recent pharmacy technician experience
- Experience in either high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy settings
- Active Indiana pharmacy technician license
- Strong reliability and commitment to attendance
