Pharmacy Technician in Greenwood, IN

Location: Greenwood, IN
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 2nd shift (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
• Possible weekend shifts
• Note: Initial training on day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) before transitioning to evenings

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and prepare pharmaceutical orders in a high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy setting
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and safe medication delivery
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Provide exceptional attention to detail and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years pharmacy technician experience, current or very recent
• Proven experience in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy environments
• Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license required
• Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic

This position begins with day shift hours to support training and acclimation before moving to the evening shift once the evening pharmacists are in place. The role provides exposure to both mail order and specialty pharmacy operations, making it an excellent professional development opportunity.
