Pharmacy Technician - Groton, New York

This opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract in Upstate New York, starting as soon as possible. The role offers a variable schedule with 5 eight-hour shifts per week, primarily during afternoons.

Responsibilities include:

• Compounding sterile and non-sterile medications
• Restocking automated dispensing systems (Pyxis)
• Delivering medications to patient care floors
• Managing incoming pharmacy calls and inquiries

The ideal candidate holds a valid New York State Pharmacy Technician license and possesses at least one year of inpatient pharmacy technician experience. Proven skills in sterile and non-sterile compounding are essential to ensure patient safety and medication accuracy.

Qualifications:

• NY Pharmacy Technician license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy technician experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
