Pharmacy Technician Opportunity on California’s Central Coast – Infusion Center Setting

An infusion center located on California's beautiful Central Coast is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a contract position. This role supports a respected integrated health system and offers a chance to work within an infusion environment with a focus on chemotherapy admixture.

• Grover Beach, CA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

Contract Duration:

• Approximately 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and admixture of chemotherapy and other infusion medications
• Accurately measure, mix, and compound sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Support pharmacy operations within the infusion center, ensuring timely delivery of medications
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to provide high-quality patient care

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacy Technician license
• Proven experience with chemotherapy admixture and oncology pharmacy practices
• Ability to work full-time and maintain consistent day-shift availability
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
• Familiarity with sterile compounding techniques and USP <797> guidelines is preferred
