Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Hayward, California

Support outpatient pharmacy operations in a fast-paced community care setting, providing essential assistance with prescription processing, customer service, and inventory management. This per diem position offers flexibility, covering shifts due to sick days, vacations, and call-outs, with potential opportunities for full-time roles in the future.

Location:

• Oakland, CA (Outpatient/Community Care Setting)

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing medications
• Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards
• Perform retail duties as directed by the Director of Pharmacy

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician License required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory; open to candidates from various backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
