Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Hayward, CA

A healthcare organization in Oakland, CA is seeking Per Diem Pharmacy Technicians to provide essential support in their outpatient/community care pharmacy setting. This role involves covering shifts to accommodate sick days, vacations, and call-outs, offering flexibility and varied work hours.

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail pharmacy duties as directed by the Director of Pharmacy (DOP)
• Assist with prescription processing, customer service, and inventory management
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies
• Support the pharmacy team in delivering outstanding patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician License
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred, but candidates from other pharmacy backgrounds will be considered
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• True Per Diem availability to cover unpredictable absences including sick days and vacations
