Pharmacy Technician in Henrico, VA

Join a growing home infusion service line within a leading regional health system known for its comprehensive network of hospitals and home infusion sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician to apply and expand their expertise in a dynamic and patient-focused environment. The position is contract to hire with a start date ASAP and a 13-week initial term.

Location:

• Henrico, VA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IVs, TPNs, and other sterile compounded medications under licensed pharmacist supervision
• Maintain strict adherence to quality assurance protocols and legal requirements
• Contribute to clinical initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care
• Provide training and support to new pharmacy technician staff as needed
• Perform additional sterile compounding and pharmacy technician duties as assigned

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of IV/infusion pharmacy technician experience, ideally within a home infusion setting; inpatient IV experience may also be considered
• Proficient in preparing TPNs and antibiotic infusions
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Virginia with current national certification
• Familiarity with EPIC pharmacy system strongly preferred
