Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Herndon, VA

An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to provide per diem coverage at a retail pharmacy located in Broadlands, VA. This role requires hands-on experience with the PioneerRx system and offers training on compounding and system use during the initial days.

Location:

• Broadlands, VA (Herndon area)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Closed on Sundays

Dates:

• June 22, 2026, through July 11, 2026
• Training on PioneerRx and non-sterile compounding from June 22 to June 24

Responsibilities:

• Accurately entering and filling prescriptions utilizing PioneerRx software
• Performing non-sterile compounding tasks with training provided during the initial assignment period
• Assisting the Pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflows and excellent patient service

Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician with strong proficiency in PioneerRx system (mandatory)
• Ability to learn and perform non-sterile compounding procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills to effectively assist pharmacists and interact with patients
