Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Herndon, Virginia

This per diem position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced pharmacy technicians seeking short-term assignments. Located in Herndon, VA, the role supports a busy retail pharmacy environment from June 22nd through July 11th, with an initial training period from June 22nd to June 24th.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and fill prescriptions using PioneerRx software (experience required)
• Assist the pharmacist with daily operations
• Perform some non-sterile compounding tasks with on-site training provided during initial days

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior hands-on experience with the PioneerRx pharmacy management system (mandatory)
• Previous pharmacy technician experience in retail settings preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription preparation
