Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Herndon, VA

A retail pharmacy in Broadlands, VA is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a per diem position covering June 22nd through July 11th. This opportunity offers hands-on experience working in a fast-paced environment alongside pharmacists to deliver quality patient care.

Location: Broadlands, VA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM - 1 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately entering and filling prescriptions using PioneerRx software (training provided June 22-24)
• Assisting the pharmacist with daily operations
• Performing some non-sterile compounding with on-site training during the initial days

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with PioneerRx is required
• Ability to learn and apply non-sterile compounding procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
