Pharmacy Technician - Hialeah, Florida

A specialty pharmacy focused on AIDS/HIV care is seeking two experienced pharmacy technicians to support their Oakland Park, FL location. This role requires a compassionate, respectful approach to a sensitive patient population and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including data entry and accurate dispensing of medications
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to ensure excellent patient care and support
• Demonstrate proactive involvement by identifying tasks needing attention and stepping in to assist
• Maintain a positive attitude while working in a high-volume, sensitive environment

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
• Knowledge of or experience with HIV/AIDS medications is essential and must be clearly demonstrated in your application
• Licensed as a Florida Pharmacy Technician; PTCB certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Proficiency with pharmacy software; QS1 experience preferred, though training will be provided
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to punctuality and teamwork

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (flexibility required to work Saturdays)
