Pharmacy Technician - Hillsboro, Wisconsin

A hospital inpatient assignment is available in Richland Center, WI, for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with inpatient hospital experience. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to quality patient care by supporting the medication management process in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Restocking Pyxis machines and monitoring medication inventory
• Checking for outdated medications and ensuring safe disposal
• Restocking medications, IVs, and medical supplies throughout the unit
• Entering charges accurately and maintaining order records
• Ordering and receiving drug shipments efficiently
• Monitoring storage temperatures to comply with safety standards
• Preparing sterile products, including chemotherapy medications, in the cleanroom
• Conducting daily cleaning tasks in sterile preparation areas
• Supporting additional pharmacy operations as assigned

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday with shifts between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on an every 4th weekend rotation
• Weekday shifts offer 8 or 10-hour options

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or the ability to obtain it promptly
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
