A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Sioux City, IA, supporting a retail and long-term care setting. This role is ideal for candidates licensed in Iowa who are experienced and confident in pharmacy operations, medication distribution, and patient interaction.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Approximately 8.5 hours per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and distribute medications prescribed by healthcare providers
- Offer clear and helpful information to customers regarding medication use
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service within the pharmacy environment
- Support pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Iowa Pharmacy Technician license required
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
