Pharmacy Technician | Hollywood, Florida

A pharmacy technician role is available with a specialty focus on HIV/AIDS pharmacy care. This position offers a 13-week contract to hire arrangement, with an immediate start and Monday through Friday schedule from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties with a high-volume workflow
• Manage data entry efficiently and accurately
• Process prior authorizations (PAs)
• Assist with dispensing and filling prescriptions
• Maintain a respectful and non-judgmental approach, especially given the HIV/AIDS specialty setting
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic as a reliable team member

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with pharmacy software; experience with Pioneer Rx is a plus, though training is provided for those who are software savvy
• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
• PTCB certification is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to work professionally and respectfully in a specialty setting focused on HIV/AIDS patients
