Pharmacy Technician | Holmen, Wisconsin

A hospital inpatient pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a contract assignment in Richland Center, WI. This role involves supporting a busy inpatient hospital pharmacy with critical medication and supply management duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing Pyxis restocking to ensure medication availability
• Checking medication for outdated products to maintain safety standards
• Restocking medications, IVs, and supplies accurately and efficiently
• Entering charges and processing medication orders
• Ordering and receiving drug shipments while tracking inventory
• Monitoring storage temperatures to comply with regulations
• Preparing sterile products and daily cleanroom cleaning to uphold aseptic technique
• Compounding chemotherapy and other specialty medications
• Performing other pharmacy technician duties as assigned to support patient care

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, shifts of 8 or 10 hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on a rotating schedule every 4th weekend

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or the ability to obtain one quickly
• Approximately 2 years of current inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Strong knowledge of sterile preparation and inpatient pharmacy operations
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Assignment based in Richland Center, WI, with consideration for candidates in nearby areas including Holmen, WI

This assignment is for approximately 13 weeks, starting ASAP. Contract position with the potential for extension depending on business needs.
