Pharmacy Technician | Homestead, Florida

This opportunity seeks two skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support a specialized AIDS/HIV retail pharmacy in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Candidates will work within a compassionate, team-oriented environment, providing crucial pharmacy services to a sensitive patient population.

Location:

• Oakland Park, FL (Ft. Lauderdale area)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (flexibility for Saturdays required)

Contract Details:

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 13-week contract to hire

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including precise data entry and medication dispensing
• Deliver high-quality patient care with respect, empathy, and clear communication
• Maintain proactive communication with healthcare providers
• Identify and respond to workflow and patient care needs independently
• Adhere to pharmacy protocols and confidentiality standards especially important in HIV/AIDS specialty care

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with QS1 software preferred; training available for tech-savvy candidates
• Florida Pharmacy Technician license required; PTCB certification is a plus
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly stated in the resume
• Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and a proactive, positive attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team focused on patient-centered care
