Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Homestead, Florida

This opportunity is for a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician working within an independent pharmacy serving patients of mental health providers. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with scheduled 15-minute breaks, and offers a supportive environment without weekend or holiday work.

Location: Homestead, FL (Note: pharmacy is based in North Miami, supporting local patients)

Schedule:

• Dates needed: August 18, 19, 20, 21, 24
• Shift hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription data from electronic script queues
• Prepare and fill prescription orders with attention to detail
• Manage shipping and delivery through a POS system coordinating local courier and UPS services
• Handle a manageable volume of incoming calls and minimal point-of-sale sales
• Support the pharmacy team using the PioneerRx system and Drug Lift courier platform

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license
• Strong data entry skills and attention to accuracy
• Experience with PioneerRx is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Fluency in Spanish is beneficial and highly valued
• Comfortable working in a setting focused primarily on prescription dispensing without opioids or immunizations
