A small independent pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support daily prescription operations. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, coachable, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment. Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- No weekends
Location: Houston, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill prescriptions and perform data entry
- Use BestRx pharmacy software for managing prescriptions—known for its ease of use
- Assist the pharmacist/owner in daily pharmacy operations
- No compounding involved
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to undergo training and develop new skills
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
- Coachable mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt
Contract to Hire Opportunity:
- Compensation commensurate with experience ($14–$17/hour for permanent placement)
