Pharmacy Technician - Huntington Beach, California

A Long-Term Care pharmacy is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians to fill contract positions in Huntington Beach, CA. These roles focus on data entry support within a closed-door mail order pharmacy environment. Candidates should be licensed pharmacy technicians with experience or a strong willingness to commit long-term, as the positions have the potential to convert to permanent roles.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently perform data entry tasks related to prescription processing
• Support pharmacy operations in a closed-door, mail order setting
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Work rotating weekend shifts as required to support pharmacy coverage
• Adapt to and utilize various EMR systems and frameworks

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license
• Experience in pharmacy technician roles, preferably including sterile compounding or IV tech responsibilities
• Familiarity with multiple EMR systems and pharmacy software frameworks is a strong plus
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to long-term employment
• Ability to work rotating weekend schedules

Schedule:

• Shift 1: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, with alternating days off monthly (Sun/Mon off one month, Wed/Thurs off the next)
• Shift 2: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday
