A Long-Term Care (LTC), closed-door mail order pharmacy is seeking experienced and licensed Pharmacy Technicians for data entry roles on a contract-to-perm basis. Candidates should have a commitment to long-term employment and be adaptable to rotating weekend shifts.

Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Job Type: Contract-to-Perm

Shift Details:

  • Data Entry Technician 1: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, rotating days off monthly (Sun/Mon off one month, Wed/Thurs off the next)
  • Data Entry Technician 2: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter prescription data into pharmacy systems
  • Support pharmacy operations with data management and verification
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other staff to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Work within a closed-door mail order pharmacy environment adhering to operational protocols

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license required
  • Experience in pharmacy technician roles preferred, especially in data entry
  • Familiarity with various Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and frameworks is highly desirable
  • Previous exposure to sterile compounding and IV preparations is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to working rotating weekends
  • Willingness to grow within the role and transition into a permanent position
