Pharmacy Technician | Hyannis, Massachusetts

A community hospital on Cape Cod is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support their pharmacy services. This role offers the opportunity to work in a 200-bed facility approximately 70 miles south of Boston, where your expertise in both sterile and non-sterile compounding will be highly valued.

Responsibilities include preparing sterile and non-sterile compounds to meet patient needs, ensuring the Pyxis medication dispensing systems are accurately restocked and maintained, and supporting pharmacy operations using EPIC and Pyxis technology platforms. This role is structured around day shifts with 8-hour schedules, promoting a consistent work routine.

Ideal candidates will hold a Massachusetts Pharmacist license and bring experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as EPIC and automated dispensing systems like Pyxis is essential to effectively perform daily duties.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficient in sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Knowledge of Pyxis automated medication systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
