A pharmacy technician position is available in Ammon, Idaho, supporting a retail and long-term care setting on a per diem basis. This role requires distributing prescribed medications and providing customers with information regarding their use, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours daily)
- One Friday shift from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and other health professionals
- Provide detailed information to patients about their medications, usage, and safety
- Maintain a strong focus on superior customer service in every interaction
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician License required
- Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy environments preferred
