A well-established mail order and specialty pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Indianapolis, IN. This role offers a path to direct hire after an initial 26-week period, providing a stable career progression within a high-volume pharmacy environment.

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Start Day Shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Transition to 2nd Shift: 12:30pm – 9:00pm (including possible weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and process prescriptions in a fast-paced mail order and specialty pharmacy setting
• Manage high-volume prescription filling while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to support smooth operations during shift transition
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Assist with inventory management and medication dispensing

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent, hands-on pharmacy technician experience in high-volume retail or mail order settings
• Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license required
• Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic in previous roles
• Ability to adapt to varying shifts and some weekend work
• Experience working in a mail order or specialty pharmacy environment is highly preferred
