This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Technician eager to advance within a dynamic pharmacy environment focused on mail order and specialty pharmacy services. The position offers a temp-to-hire arrangement, providing candidates the pathway to direct hire upon successful completion of a 26-week assignment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, possess strong experience in high-volume pharmacy settings, and hold an active Indiana pharmacy technician license.

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Initial shift: Day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) transitioning to 2nd shift (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM) once evening pharmacists are in place
  • Possible weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications in a high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy environment
  • Maintain strict compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medication delivery
  • Manage inventory and documentation in accordance with company protocols
  • Demonstrate adaptability in transitioning shifts and handling variable workload demands

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years current or very recent pharmacy technician experience
  • Proven experience in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy settings
  • Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license required
  • Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic essential
