Pharmacy Technician | Indianapolis, Indiana

A reputable mail order and specialty pharmacy in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to begin on the day shift with a transition to the second shift once evening pharmacists are established. If you have a solid background in pharmacy technology and a commitment to reliability, this position provides a pathway to direct hire after 26 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in a high-volume mail order setting
• Support pharmacy operations by ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Assist pharmacists in specialty pharmacy tasks and medication management
• Maintain detailed and organized records of prescriptions and patient information
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to meet daily workflow demands
• Adapt to varying shifts including a final schedule on second shift (12:30pm - 9pm) with potential weekend hours

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years current or very recent pharmacy technician experience
• Proven experience in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy settings
• Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license required
• Demonstrated reliability and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both day and evening shifts as required during the onboarding period

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 12:30pm to 9:00pm (second shift)
• Initial start on day shift, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Possible weekend shifts as needed
