Pharmacy Technician - Indianapolis, Indiana

This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your pharmacy technician skills in a high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy environment. The role is based in Indianapolis, IN, with a contract-to-hire structure and an eventual shift to 2nd shift hours from 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Support pharmacists and pharmacy staff in daily operations
• Manage high volumes of prescriptions efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain inventory and documentation for mail order and specialty pharmacy services

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent and relevant experience as a pharmacy technician
• Experience working in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy settings
• Valid Indiana pharmacy technician license
• Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic
• Ability to adapt to starting on a day shift (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) and transition to evening shift once established

• Initially day shift, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
