Pharmacy Technician in Indianapolis, IN

This opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a specialty and mail order pharmacy environment with a clear path to direct hire. The role is based in Indianapolis, IN, working a 2nd shift schedule (12:30 pm – 9:00 pm), Monday through Friday, with possible weekend hours. Initially, candidates will start on the day shift (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) to accommodate training and transition as evening pharmacists join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and dispense high volume mail order and specialty pharmacy prescriptions
• Maintain precise records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Assist pharmacists in daily operations during high-volume periods
• Uphold safety, quality, and confidentiality standards in all tasks
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a high volume retail or mail order setting
• Current Indiana pharmacy technician license is required
• Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic in previous roles
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes including shift transitions and potential weekend duties
