Pharmacy Technician - Indianapolis, IN

This position offers an opportunity for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to contribute in a high-volume specialty pharmacy environment focused on mail order services. The role begins with day shift hours and transitions to an evening shift once evening pharmacists are in place. Location: Indianapolis, IN
Shift: Monday through Friday, 2nd shift (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM), with possible weekend hours
Initial Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM day shift, moving to evening shift as noted
Duration: 26 weeks with intent for direct hire

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications for mail order and specialty pharmacy patients
• Handle high-volume prescription processing efficiently and accurately
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Support the transition to and operations on the 2nd shift once pharmacists are established

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of current or very recent pharmacy technician experience
• Experience in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy settings
• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to manage a demanding workload
