Pharmacy Technician - Indianapolis, IN

Join a leading specialty and mail order pharmacy environment seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support high-volume operations in Indianapolis, IN. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a chance for permanent placement, offering a dynamic setting with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and exceptional service.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shift start: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (initial training and onboarding)
• Transition to 2nd shift: 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm once evening pharmacists are established
• Possible weekend shifts may be required

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and prepare prescription orders in a high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy setting
• Assist pharmacists in verifying prescription information and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage inventory and ensure medications are properly stored and labeled
• Provide excellent customer service through timely and clear communication with patients and healthcare providers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support team efficiency

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent pharmacy technician experience, ideally in high-volume retail or mail order settings
• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
• Strong reliability and commitment to consistent attendance and performance
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
