Pharmacy Technician - Indianapolis, IN

This position seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy environments. The role is based in Indianapolis, IN, within a specialty mail order pharmacy setting. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible weekend shifts. This opportunity is a 26-week contract with the intent for direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications in a mail order/specialty pharmacy setting.
• Manage high prescription volumes while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to ensure excellent patient service.
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems effectively to process orders and manage inventory.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant pharmacy technician experience.
• Demonstrated experience in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy operations.
• Current and valid Indiana pharmacy technician license.
• Strong reliability and commitment to maintaining consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional weekends may be required.
