Provide vital support as a Pharmacy Technician in a specialized, fast-paced closed-door pharmacy embedded within a behavioral health hospital setting. This role offers an opportunity to work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, handling approximately 350-400 prescriptions daily. The pharmacy exclusively dispenses behavioral health medications, focusing on efficiency and accuracy without vaccine administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense behavioral health medications in a high-volume environment
  • Utilize Enterprise RX software for prescription processing (training provided)
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists and hospital staff to ensure timely medication fulfillment
  • Maintain strict adherence to pharmacy protocols, particularly reliability and professionalism
  • Support smooth operational workflows in a closed-door pharmacy setting

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Texas Pharmacy Technician license (required)
  • Minimum 1 year recent pharmacy technician experience; 2+ years preferred, retail experience valued
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong reliability and commitment to professionalism, especially important given prior behavioral challenges in staff
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Location: This role is based locally in the Plano, TX area (7304 Alma Drive) with an immediate start available.

Contract Details:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity
  • Credit approved and contract signed
