Pharmacy Technician - Irving, TX

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician eager to bring their expertise to a dynamic pharmacy setting. The role is based in Irving, TX and offers a contract-to-hire pathway for candidates with a strong background in sterile compounding and infusion preparation.

Location: Irving, TX
Schedule:

• Tuesday-Friday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation: 1 weekend every 8th week (from the end of Saturday shift until 8:00 AM Monday)

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• Sterile Compounding Certification required
• PTCB Certification
• Minimum of 2 years sterile compounding experience
• Proficient in infusion preparation and handling

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a rotating schedule between sterile compounding preparation tasks in the pharmacy and mixing in the cleanroom environment
• Prepare sterile medications following strict aseptic techniques and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure accuracy and safety in infusion preparation
• Support the pharmacy team by maintaining a clean and compliant workspace
