Pharmacy Technician in Irving, TX

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in sterile compounding, based in Irving, TX. The role combines hands-on preparation duties in both the pharmacy and cleanroom environments, supporting critical infusion services.

Work Schedule:

• Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• On-call rotation: 1 weekend every 8 weeks (from the end of the Saturday shift through Monday 8 a.m.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Rotate between preparing sterile medications in the pharmacy and compounding in the cleanroom.
• Ensure compliance with sterile compounding protocols and safety standards.
• Support infusion medication preparation to meet patient care needs.
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License.
• Sterile Compounding Certification.
• PTCB certified.
• Minimum of 2 years of sterile compounding experience.
• Previous infusion preparation experience is essential.
