Pharmacy Technician | Irwin, Pennsylvania

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to support a 300-bed children’s hospital in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This role offers a variable shift schedule and requires an ASAP start.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Utilize EPIC for electronic health record documentation and communication

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
• Hospital pharmacy experience or completed residency strongly preferred
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to work flexible and variable shifts in a dynamic environment
