Pharmacy Technician - Itasca, IL

An ongoing opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations across multiple areas including front-end pharmacy duties, PRS tasks, and warehouse activities. This role requires flexibility and a proactive approach to assist wherever needed within the pharmacy setting.

Location:

• Itasca, IL

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Duration:

• 6-month assignment with potential to transition to permanent employment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold a valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB Certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred to meet role demands

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations
• Perform pharmacy-related support activities including prescription processing and inventory management
• Provide coverage and assistance in the warehouse and various pharmacy areas as needed
• Collaborate closely with team members to maintain smooth and efficient pharmacy workflow

Compensation:

• Starting pay at $23 per hour for 1 year of experience
• $24 per hour with 2 years of solid pharmacy technician experience
• $25 per hour for candidates with 3 or more years of experience
