An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician within a specialized oncology infusion setting. This 13-week contract role supports a leading cancer specialist center, located in Canton, GA, focusing on outpatient oncology treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments in an outpatient infusion center.
- Perform IV starts and access implanted ports in patients.
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory protocols specific to oncology pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain accurate medication records and patient care standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings.
- Certification in chemotherapy preparation and administration (Chemo Cert).
- Proficient in IV start techniques and implanted port access.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

- Canton, GA (Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible for this role.)
