Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Antioch, Tennessee

An opportunity is available for an IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician focused on sterile compounding and prescription preparation. This position offers an 8-week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance.

Location:

• Antioch, TN

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and fill IV prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data and ensure accurate reimbursement.
• Assist in prepackaging medications according to regulatory standards.
• Support the pharmacist by reviewing and packaging medications for final delivery.
• Help maintain inventory, including receiving shipments, checking lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical counts.
• Ensure the work environment is clean and safe, regularly checking equipment calibration and safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license.
• Prior IV/Infusion pharmacy technician experience required.
• National certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively under pharmacist supervision.
