Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Arlington, Texas

An infusion center specializing in a comprehensive range of infusion therapies is seeking an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This urgent backfill opportunity requires a distinct focus on aseptic technique and sterile compounding expertise. The ideal candidate will be a top-tier sterile compounding technician capable of maintaining impeccable standards in a fast-paced infusion pharmacy environment.

Location:

• Dallas, TX (3409 Worth Street, Suite 740, Dallas, TX 75246)

Schedule:

• Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm (exact time TBD)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile IV admixtures including TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, and specialty infusions following USP <797> and <800> standards
• Accurately label, package, and stage compounded products for pharmacist verification and timely distribution
• Maintain clean room sterility with routine environmental cleaning and proper garbing practices, documenting all procedures
• Manage inventory of IV medications and supplies to ensure availability and compliance
• Complete precise compounding logs, batch records, and quality control documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
• IV Certification (required)
• Minimum of 2 years recent sterile compounding experience (3+ years preferred)
• At least 4 years of recent pharmacy technician experience
