An opportunity is available for an IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of two years’ experience in oncology and infusion settings. This role supports an outpatient oncology infusion center specializing in chemotherapy and hematology treatments.

Location:

  • Canton, GA (50+ miles from Atlanta, GA)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Contract length: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy medications and other infusion treatments within the outpatient oncology setting.
  • Perform implanted port access and IV insertions.
  • Follow strict safety and procedural protocols related to chemotherapy preparation and administration.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure patient care standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication preparation and administration.

Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • IV certification required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an oncology or infusion pharmacy environment.
  • Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols and safety standards.
  • Proficient in implanted port access and IV start skills.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Canton, GA; candidates residing within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA are not eligible.
