IV Certified Pharmacy Technician - Atlanta, GA

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with IV and chemotherapy certification to support an outpatient oncology infusion center. This role involves preparing and administering chemotherapy and hematology treatments, requiring strong skills in IV starts and implanted port access. The position is based in Canton, GA, and requires a minimum of two years’ oncology or infusion experience.

Location: Canton, GA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  Duration: 13-week contract

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology infusions under an outpatient oncology setting
• Perform IV starts and access implanted ports with precision
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and treatment guidelines
• Collaborate with oncology care teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Document treatments and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of oncology or infusion pharmacy technician experience
• Valid Georgia pharmacy technician license
• Chemotherapy certification with proven experience in outpatient oncology infusion
• Proficient in IV start techniques and accessing implanted ports
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Candidates must reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the job site
