An IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician is needed for a 13-week contract opportunity supporting an outpatient oncology infusion center in Canton, GA. This role requires a specialized skill set to assist with chemotherapy preparation and administration within an infusion center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments under supervision
  • Utilize IV start skills and access implanted ports safely and effectively
  • Support the outpatient oncology infusion team to ensure accurate medication delivery
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards in handling chemotherapy agents
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to maintain seamless infusion services

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in oncology/infusion pharmacy settings
  • IV Certified Pharmacy Technician with chemo certification
  • Experience working in hematology and oncology specialties, preferably outpatient infusion
  • Valid Georgia pharmacy technician license
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Additional Details:

  • Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius of Canton, GA to be eligible
  • The assignment is based at a leading cancer specialist infusion center, providing comprehensive care to oncology patients
