A specialized IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician position is available at a leading oncology infusion center in Canton, GA. This 13-week contract role requires expertise in outpatient oncology infusion services, supporting chemotherapy and hematology treatments in a high-quality care environment.
Location: Canton, GA
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer chemotherapy medications and certain hematology treatments
- Perform IV starts and access implanted ports with precision and care
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure safe and accurate medication delivery
- Maintain strict adherence to oncology pharmacy protocols and regulatory standards
- Provide exceptional support in an infusion center focused on outpatient oncology care
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in oncology or infusion pharmacy settings
- Certified in chemotherapy preparation and administration for outpatient oncology
- Proficient in IV start techniques and implanted port access
- Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license required
- Must be willing to relocate or commute beyond 50 miles; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
