A direct hire opportunity for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician is available for the evening shift in a closed-door, long-term care pharmacy setting located in Woodridge, IL. This position requires a reliable individual with excellent attendance and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment processing approximately 600 prescriptions daily. Candidates will have the chance to work Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with rotating every-other-weekend schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using strict aseptic techniques to ensure sterility
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain medication safety and accuracy
  • Manage pharmacy inventory effectively to support continuous operations
  • Ensure compliance with USP 797 and other regulatory standards relevant to sterile compounding
  • Utilize pharmacy software system Frameworks (training provided)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory
  • Proven experience in sterile compounding within a pharmacy setting
  • Demonstrated speed and efficiency to handle a high-volume workload
  • Reliability with strong attendance record
