Pharmacy Technician IV Certified - Aurora, Illinois

Support sterile compounding operations as an Evening Shift IV Pharmacy Technician in a closed-door long-term care (LTC) facility. This direct hire opportunity requires a dedicated professional with strong attention to detail, reliability, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position plays a critical role in preparing intravenous medications, ensuring patient safety through strict adherence to USP 797 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to maintain sterility
• Conduct quality assurance checks on compounded sterile products
• Manage pharmacy inventory efficiently to support continuous operations
• Ensure all processes are compliant with USP 797 standards and other regulatory requirements
• Utilize Frameworks software system (training provided) to document and track medications

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
• Rotating every other weekend off

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• Sterile compounding experience, specifically IV preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting (approximately 600 prescriptions per day)
• Dependable with excellent attendance record
