Join an established long-term care pharmacy as an Evening Shift IV Pharmacy Technician focused on sterile compounding. This direct hire opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with rotating every-other-weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using strict aseptic techniques to maintain sterility
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and safety
  • Manage inventory to maintain optimal medication supplies
  • Ensure compliance with USP 797 standards and applicable regulations
  • Utilize Frameworks software system (training available)

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
  • Proven sterile compounding experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, handling approximately 600 prescriptions per day
  • Dependable with excellent attendance record

  • This position is located in the Aurora, IL area, specifically offering work in a closed-door, LTC facility environment.
