An opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician to work the evening shift at a closed-door long-term care facility in the Aurora, IL area. This direct hire position is suited for a reliable candidate with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance history.

Location: Aurora, IL
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

  • Rotating every other weekend
    Facility Type: Closed door, Long-Term Care (LTC)
    Software: Frameworks (training provided)
    Prescription Volume: Approximately 600 prescriptions per day

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to ensure sterility
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on compounded products
  • Manage medication inventory efficiently to prevent shortages or overstock
  • Strictly adhere to USP 797 standards and other regulatory requirements
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
  • Proven experience in sterile compounding, specifically intravenous medications
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure while maintaining high standards
  • Dependable with consistent attendance and strong time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the Frameworks software system
