An experienced IV/Infusion/Chemo Pharmacy Technician is needed for a contract position based in Boston, MA. This role focuses primarily on the delivery of medications and non-hazardous sterile compounding within an oncology/infusion pharmacy setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting infusion clinics, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units by ensuring timely and accurate medication delivery.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Rotating Saturdays required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medications to the infusion clinic, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units, supporting patient care in oncology and infusion services.
  • Assist with medication management using Pyxis systems.
  • Perform non-chemotherapy sterile compounding as part of medication preparation.
  • Coordinate effectively with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license.
  • National certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Proven experience in IV/Infusion and chemotherapy pharmacy operations.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile compounding protocols and medication delivery processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Flexibility to work scheduled weekdays and rotating Saturdays.

This is a 13-week contract opportunity, commencing on March 2nd, offering the chance to contribute to patient care in a critical specialty area.
