IV Certified Pharmacy Technician - Boston, MA

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with IV certification to support oncology and infusion pharmacy services in Boston, MA. This contract role spans 13 weeks, starting March 2nd, and centers on the accurate and safe preparation and delivery of medications in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver medications to infusion clinics, ambulatory clinics, and hospital units efficiently
• Assist with nonhazardous sterile compounding, focusing on IV and infusion therapies, including chemotherapy support
• Manage medication distribution through Pyxis systems
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate medication provision
• Support rotating Saturday shifts in addition to regular Monday through Friday schedule

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license in-hand
• National certification as a Pharmacy Technician
• Proven experience in IV/infusion and chemotherapy pharmacy settings
• Strong understanding of sterile compounding practices and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced oncology/infusion pharmacy environment

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays required
