Pharmacy Technician IV Certified | Brooklyn, New York

An urgent opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians with IV compounding certification to join a dynamic infusion pharmacy team in Brooklyn, NY. This 13-week contract position offers the possibility of transition to permanent status based on performance. Immediate start dates are preferred due to high-priority client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV medications and clean room compounding under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Fill prescriptions accurately and assist in final verification processes including prepackaging and packaging medication for dispensing.
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data into computer systems for processing and reimbursement.
• Maintain inventory control by receiving, rotating, and tracking medication supplies, including lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and equipment calibration standards in the compounding environment.
• Support pharmacy management in upholding regulatory and quality standards throughout preparation and dispensing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active NY Pharmacy Technician license and national certification required.
• Proven experience in IV/infusion pharmacy compounding highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under direct pharmacist supervision.
• Familiarity with pharmacy inventory procedures and billing processes.
• Commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and compliant work conditions.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Two shift options: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM or 10:30 AM–7:30 PM
